சீரிய ராஜாவின் படைத்தலைவனாகிய நாகமான் என்பவன் தன் எஜமானிடத்தில் பெரியவனும் மதிக்கத்தக்கவனுமாக இருந்தான்; அவனைக்கொண்டு யெகோவா சீரியாவுக்கு வெற்றியைக் கொடுத்தார்; மிகவும் பலசாலியாகிய அவனோ தொழுநோயாளியாக இருந்தான்.

Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
