ภรรยาของคนหนึ่งในเหล่าศิษย์แห่งผู้พยากรณ์ร้องต่อเอลีชาว่า “ผู้รับใช้ของท่าน คือสามีของดิฉันสิ้นชีวิตเสียแล้ว และท่านก็ทราบอยู่แล้วว่าผู้รับใช้ของท่านเกรงกลัวพระเยโฮวาห์ แต่เจ้าหนี้ได้มาเพื่อนำเอาบุตรชายสองคนของดิฉันไปเป็นทาสของเขา”

Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
