அந்தப் பாத்திரங்கள் நிறைந்தபின்பு, அவள் தன் மகன் ஒருவனை நோக்கி: இன்னும் ஒரு பாத்திரம் கொண்டுவா என்றாள். அதற்கு அவன்: வேறு பாத்திரம் இல்லை என்றான்; அப்பொழுது எண்ணெய் நின்றுபோனது.

And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.
