தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுடைய கூட்டத்தாரில் ஒருவனுக்கு மனைவியாயிருந்த ஒரு பெண் எலிசாவைப் பார்த்து: உமது அடியானாகிய என் கணவன் இறந்துபோனான்; உமது அடியான் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து நடந்தான் என்பதை அறிவீர்; கடன் கொடுத்தவன் இப்போது என் இரண்டு மகன்களையும் தனக்கு அடிமைகளாக்கிக்கொள்ள வந்தான் என்றாள்.

Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
