ഒരു ദിവസം എലീശാ ശൂനേമിലേക്കു പോയി; അവിടെ ധനികയായോരു സ്ത്രീ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൾ അവനെ ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നു വരേണം എന്നു നിർബ്ബന്ധിച്ചു. പിന്നെത്തേതിൽ അവൻ ആ വഴി പോകുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നു അവിടെ കയറും.

¶ And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.
