II RE 3:27

Allora egli prese il suo figliuolo primogenito, che dovea regnare in luogo suo, e l'offerse in olocausto in sul muro, e vi fu grande indegnazione contro agl'Israeliti. E gli altri si partirono da lui, e ritornarono al paese.

Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.
