వారు అతనితో “నీ సేవకులైన మా దగ్గర యాభై మంది బలమైన వారున్నారు. నీ గురువును వెదకడానికి వాళ్ళను వెళ్ళనివ్వు. ఒకవేళ యెహోవా ఆత్మ అతణ్ణి పైకి తీసుకు వెళ్ళి ఏ పర్వతం మీదనో, ఏ లోయలోనో పడవేసి ఉండవచ్చు” అని మనవి చేశారు. దానికి ఎలీషా “వద్దు, ఎవర్నీ పంపకండి” అని జవాబిచ్చాడు.
