Och det skedde i hans 9:e regeringsår, i den 10:e månaden [tevet – jan/dec] på den 10:e dagen i månaden att Nebukadnessar, Babels kung, kom, han och hela hans armé, mot Jerusalem och slog läger mot henne och de byggde belägringsvallar mot henne runtom.

And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against it round about.
