In het zeven en dertigste jaar der ballingschap van Jehojakin, den koning van Juda, op de zeven en twintigste dag der twaalfde maand, begenadigde Ewil-Merodak bij gelegenheid van zijn troonbestijging Jehojakin, den koning van Juda, en ontsloeg hem uit de kerker.
