基大利向他們和屬他們的人起誓說：「你們不必懼怕迦勒底臣僕，只管住在這地服事巴比倫王，就可以得福。」

And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.
