యెహోయాకీము రోజుల్లో బబులోను రాజు నెబుకద్నెజరు యెరూషలేము మీదకి యుద్ధానికి వచ్చాడు. యెహోయాకీము అతనికి లోబడి మూడు సంవత్సరాలు సేవించిన తరువాత అతని మీద తిరుగుబాటు చేశాడు.
