મનાશ્શાએ તેનાં કૃત્યોથી જે પાપો કર્યાં હતાં તેને લીધે તેઓને પોતાની દ્રષ્ટિ આગળથી દૂર કરવા યહોવાહની આજ્ઞાથી જ યહૂદિયા પર દુઃખ આવી પડ્યું હતું.
