Yosia menghancurkan pula semua tempat pemujaan di Samaria dan kota-kota sekitarnya, seperti yang dia lakukan di Betel. Tempat-tempat tersebut didirikan oleh raja-raja Israel dan itulah yang membuat TUHAN marah.
