എന്നാൽ അവർ കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചില്ല; യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ച ജാതികളെക്കാളും അധികം ദോഷം ചെയ്‌വാൻ മനശ്ശെ അവരെ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
