തന്റെ അപ്പനായ ഹിസ്കീയാവു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരുന്ന പൂജാഗിരികളെ അവൻ വീണ്ടും പണിതു; ബാലിന്നു ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവായ ആഹാബ് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഒരു അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു ആകാശത്തിലെ സർവ്വസൈന്യത്തെയും നമസ്കരിച്ചു സേവിച്ചു.
