అప్పుడు రాజు యాభై మంది సైనికులతో ఒక అధికారిని ఎలీయా దగ్గరికి పంపించాడు. ఎలీయా ఒక కొండ మీద కూర్చుని ఉన్నాడు. ఆ అధికారి ఎలీయా ఉన్న చోటికి కొండ ఎక్కి వచ్చాడు. అతడు ఎలీయాతో “ఇదిగో, దేవుని మనిషీ, రాజు నిన్ను దిగి రమ్మంటున్నాడు” అన్నాడు.

Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.
