നിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാർമുഖാന്തരം നീ കർത്താവിനെ നിന്ദിച്ചു: എന്റെ അസംഖ്യരഥങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഞാൻ മലമുകളിലും ലെബാനോന്റെ ശിഖരങ്ങളിലും കയറിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ പൊക്കമുള്ള ദേവദാരുക്കളും വിശേഷമായ സരളവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും ഞാൻ മുറിക്കും; അതിന്റെ അറ്റത്തെ പാർപ്പിടംവരെയും ചെഴിപ്പുള്ള കാടുവരെയും ഞാൻ കടന്നുചെല്ലും.

By thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.
