તે જ રાત્રે એમ થયું કે, યહોવાહના દૂતે આવીને આશ્શૂરીઓની છાવણીમાં એક લાખ પંચાશી હજાર સૈનિકોને મારી નાખ્યા. વહેલી સવારે માણસોએ ઊઠીને જોયું, તો બધી જગ્યાએ મૃતદેહ પડ્યા હતા.
