และเฮเซคียาห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ทรงใช้ให้ไปทูลกษัตริย์แห่งอัสซีเรียที่เมืองลาคีชว่า “ข้าพเจ้าได้กระทำผิด ขอถอนทัพไปเสียจากข้าพเจ้า ท่านจะปรับสักเท่าใด ข้าพเจ้าจะยอมทั้งสิ้น” และกษัตริย์แห่งอัสซีเรียได้เรียกร้องเอาเงินสามร้อยตะลันต์ และทองคำสามสิบตะลันต์ จากเฮเซคียาห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์

And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
