அவன் மேடைகளை அகற்றி, சிலைகளைத் தகர்த்து, விக்கிரகத்தோப்புகளை வெட்டி, மோசே உண்டாக்கியிருந்த வெண்கலச் சர்ப்பத்தை உடைத்துப்போட்டான்; அந்நாட்கள்வரை இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் அதற்குத் தூபம் காட்டிவந்தார்கள்; அதற்கு நிகுஸ்தான் என்று பெயரிட்டான்.

¶ He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.
