అయితే వారు అలా ఉండడం ఆరంభించినప్పుడు వారు యెహోవా పట్ల భయభక్తులు లేని వారు గనుక యెహోవా వాళ్ళ మధ్యకు సింహాలను పంపాడు. అవి వాళ్ళల్లో కొంతమందిని చంపాయి.

And so it was at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they feared not the LORD: therefore the LORD sent lions among them, which slew some of them.
