II RE 17:20

Perciò, il Signore sdegnò tutta la progenie d'Israele, e li afflisse, e li diede in mano di predatori, finchè li ebbe cacciati via dal suo cospetto.

And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.
