II RE 17:11

E quivi aveano fatti profumi in ogni alto luogo, come le genti che il Signore avea trasportate via d'innanzi a loro; ed aveano fatte cose malvage, per dispettare il Signore;

And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger:
