Mê-na-hem thâu lấy tiền bạc ấy nơi dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, tức nơi những người có tài sản nhiều, cứ mỗi người năm mươi siếc lơ bạc, đặng nộp cho vua A-si-ri. Đoạn, vua A-si-ri trở về, chẳng ở lâu tại xứ.
