Ginawa niya ang masama sa harapan ni Yahweh. Hindi niya iniwan ang mga kasalanan ni Jeroboam anak ni Nebat, na siyang nagdulot sa Israel na magkasala.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
