પછી યોથામ પોતાના પિતૃઓની સાથે ઊંઘી ગયો અને તેને તેના પિતૃ દાઉદના નગરમાં તેના પિતૃઓની સાથે દફનાવવામાં આવ્યો. પછી તેનો દીકરો આહાઝ તેની જગ્યાએ રાજા બન્યો.
