તે રાજ કરવા લાગ્યો ત્યારે તે પચીસ વર્ષનો હતો, તેણે યરુશાલેમમાં સોળ વર્ષ સુધી રાજ કર્યું. તેની માતાનું નામ યરુશા હતું; તે સાદોકની દીકરી હતી.
