వారు అక్కడ అతన్ని చంపి గుర్రాల మీద అతని శవాన్ని యెరూషలేముకు తెప్పించి దావీదు పట్టణంలో అతని పూర్వీకుల సమాధిలో పాతిపెట్టారు.
