2-Koningen 14:10

Gij hebt Edom geheel verslagen; daardoor heeft uw hart u overmoedig gemaakt. Behoud uw roem en blijf in uw huis. Waarom zoudt gij het ongeluk uitdagen, zodat gij ten val komt, en Juda met u?

Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath lifted thee up: glory of this, and tarry at home: for why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?
