En Joas, de koning van Israel, greep Amazia, den koning van Juda, den zoon van Joas, den zoon van Ahazia, te Beth-Semes, en kwam te Jeruzalem; en hij brak aan den muur van Jeruzalem, van de poort van Efraim tot aan de Hoekpoort, vierhonderd ellen.

And Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Jehoash the son of Ahaziah, at Beth-shemesh, and came to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim unto the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
