E Gioas, re d'Israele, prese in Bet-semes Amasia, re di Giuda, figliuolo di Gioas, figliuolo di Achazia; poi venne in Gerusalemme, e fece una rottura nel muro di Gerusalemme, dalla porta di Efraim, infino alla porta del Cantone, lo spazio di quattrocento cubiti.

And Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Jehoash the son of Ahaziah, at Beth-shemesh, and came to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim unto the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
