પછી યોઆશ પોતાના પિતૃઓની સાથે ઊંઘી ગયો અને તેને ઇઝરાયલના રાજાઓ સાથે સમરુનમાં દફનાવવામાં આવ્યો, તેના પછી તેનો દીકરો યરોબામ તેની જગ્યાએ રાજા બન્યો.

And Jehoash slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel; and Jeroboam his son reigned in his stead.
