షిమాతు కొడుకు యోజాకారు షోమేరు కొడుకు యెహోజాబాదు అనే అతని సేవకులు అతనిపై దాడి చేయగా అతడు మరణించాడు. ప్రజలు దావీదు పురంలో అతని పూర్వీకుల సమాధిలో అతణ్ణి పాతిపెట్టారు. అతని కుమారుడు అమజ్యా అతని స్థానంలో రాజయ్యాడు.
