ஆசாரியனாகிய யோய்தா ஒரு பெட்டியை எடுத்து, அதின் மூடியிலே ஒரு துவாரமிட்டு, அதைப் பலிபீடத்தின் அருகில் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தில் மக்கள் உட்பிரவேசிக்கும் வலதுபக்கத்தில் வைத்தான்; வாசற்படியைக் காக்கிற ஆசாரியர்கள் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவரப்பட்ட பணத்தையெல்லாம் அதிலே போட்டார்கள்.
