Alors le sacrificateur Jehojada prit un coffre, perça un trou dans son couvercle, et le plaça à côté de l’autel, à droite, sur le passage par lequel on entrait à la maison de l’Éternel. Les sacrificateurs qui avaient la garde du seuil y mettaient tout l’argent qu’on apportait dans la maison de l’Éternel.

But Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one cometh into the house of the LORD: and the priests that kept the door put therein all the money that was brought into the house of the LORD.
