Ma Ioseba, figliuola del re Gioram, sorella di Achazia, prese Gioas, figliuolo di Achazia, e lo tolse furtivamente d'infra i figliuoli del re che si uccidevano, e lo mise, con la sua balia, in una delle camere de' letti; e così fu nascosto d'innanzi ad Atalia, e non fu ucciso.

But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.
