Achab zaś miał siedemdziesięciu synów w Samarii. I Jehu napisał list, i wysłał go do Samarii do książąt Jizreel – do starszych i do tych, którzy wychowywali synów Achaba – ze słowami:

And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab’s children, saying,
