Daarna kwam Jehu met Jonadab, de zoon van Rekab, naar de tempel van Baäl en zeide tot de dienaren van Baäl: Ziet nauwkeurig toe en zorgt, dat hier onder u niemand zij van de dienaren des Heren, maar uitsluitend dienaren van Baäl.

And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said unto the worshippers of Baal, Search, and look that there be here with you none of the servants of the LORD, but the worshippers of Baal only.
