എങ്കിലും യേഹൂ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം പൂർണ്ണമനസ്സോടെ നടക്കുന്നതിന്നു ജാഗ്രത കാണിച്ചില്ല; യിസ്രായേലിനെക്കൊണ്ടു പാപം ചെയ്യിച്ച യൊരോബെയാമിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെ അവൻ വിട്ടുമാറിയതുമില്ല.
