તો પણ યેહૂએ ઇઝરાયલના ઈશ્વર યહોવાહના નિયમ પ્રમાણે ચાલવાની તેના પૂરા હૃદયથી કાળજી રાખી નહિ. યરોબામ જે પાપો કરીને ઇઝરાયલ પાસે દુરાચાર કરાવતો હતો તે કરવાનું તેણે ચાલું રાખ્યું.
