దైవిక విచారం పశ్చాత్తాపాన్ని తెస్తుంది. దాని వలన విచారం కాదు, రక్షణ లభిస్తుంది. అయితే లోకానుసారమైన విచారం చావును తెస్తుంది.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
