કરિંથીઓને બીજો પત્ર 6:16

અને ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનને મૂર્તિઓની સાથે સંબંધ હોય ખરો? કેમ કે આપણે જીવતા ઈશ્વરનું ભક્તિસ્થાન છીએ, જેમ ઈશ્વરે કહ્યું કે, ‘હું તેઓમાં રહીશ તથા ચાલીશ; તેઓનો ઈશ્વર થઈશ; અને તેઓ મારા લોક થશે.’”

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
