और मूरतों के साथ परमेश्वर के मन्दिर का क्या सम्बंध? क्योंकि हम तो जीविते परमेश्वर के मन्दिर हैं; जैसा परमेश्वर ने कहा है “मैं उनमें बसूँगा और उनमें चला फिरा करूँगा; और मैं उनका परमेश्वर होऊँगा, और वे मेरे लोग होंगे।” (लैव्य. 26:11,12, यिर्म. 32:38, यहे. 37:27)

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
