2 Korintiërs 4:4

De god van de huidige wereld heeft het denken van de ongelovigen verblind, om te voorkomen dat zij het licht zien – het evangelie over de hemelse pracht van Christus, in Wie God zichzelf zichtbaar gemaakt heeft.

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
