இப்படி நான் யோசித்தது வீணாக யோசித்தேனோ? அல்லது ஆம் ஆம் என்கிறதும், இல்லை இல்லை என்கிறதும், என்னிடத்திலே இருப்பதற்காக, நான் யோசிக்கிறவைகளை சரீரத்தின்படி யோசிக்கிறேனோ?

When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
