కొరింతీయులకు రాసిన రెండవ పత్రిక 12:6

ఒకవేళ అతిశయించాలనుకొన్నా అది తెలివి తక్కువతనమేమీ కాదు. ఎందుకంటే నేను సత్యమే చెబుతున్నాను. కానీ ఎవరైనా నాలో చూసినదాని కంటే, నేను చెప్పింది విన్నదాని కంటే నన్ను ఎక్కువ ఘనంగా ఎంచకుండా ఉండేలా అతిశయించడం మానుకుంటాను.

For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.
