II CORINTI 12:7

Ed anche, acciocchè io non m'innalzi sopra modo per l'eccellenza delle rivelazioni, mi è stato dato uno stecco nella carne, un angelo di Satana, per darmi delle guanciate; acciocchè io non m'innalzi sopra modo.

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
