2 Korintiërs 10:12

Wij durven onszelf niet gelijk te stellen aan bepaalde mensen die zichzelf aanbevelen. We willen ons ook niet met hen vergelijken. Als zij zichzelf als maatstaf nemen en zich dus met zichzelf vergelijken, hebben ze geen inzicht.

For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
