رِسَالَةُ بُولُسَ ٱلرَّسُولِ ٱلثَّانِيةُ إِلَى أَهْلِ كُورِنْثُوسَ 10:12

لِأَنَّنَا لَا نَجْتَرِئُ أَنْ نَعُدَّ أَنْفُسَنَا بَيْنَ قَوْمٍ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمْدَحُونَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ، وَلَا أَنْ نُقَابِلَ أَنْفُسَنَا بِهِمْ. بَلْ هُمْ إِذْ يَقِيسُونَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ، وَيُقَابِلُونَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ، لَا يَفْهَمُونَ.

For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
