ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு இருந்த பானபாத்திரங்களெல்லாம் பொன்னும், லீபனோன் வனம் என்னும் மாளிகையின் பணிமுட்டுகளெல்லாம் பசும்பொன்னுமாயிருந்தது; ஒன்றும் வெள்ளியினால் செய்யப்படவில்லை; சாலொமோனின் நாட்களில் வெள்ளி ஒரு பொருட்டாகக் கருதப்படவில்லை.

¶ And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was not any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.
